Care at home
Keratherapy for shampoo and conditioner, matched to your hair and your color before you leave. A line of our own, under the Gil Ferrer name, is in development.
How we work
The house rules, in plain words
Short, because there is nothing to hide in them. If a question is not answered here, the desk will answer it straight.
- The price is agreed before we start
- Every visit opens with a consultation. Your stylist looks at your hair, tells you what it needs, and gives you the price before anything is mixed or cut. The number on this page is where the service starts; the number you hear in the chair is the one you pay.
- We want you to love it
- Living with a new cut or color for a few days sometimes brings a tweak to mind. Come back within seven days and your stylist will make it, at no charge. Just tell the desk.
- Changing or cancelling
- We have a 24-hour cancellation policy, and we appreciate at least 24 hours’ notice of any change to an appointment. The time then goes to someone on the waiting list, which in summer is a real person. Text or call, or use the link in your confirmation.
- Running late
- Life happens. Text us when you know. More than fifteen minutes and we may need to shorten the service or find you another time, so the next guest is not kept waiting.
- Not showing up
- We do not take a card to book. If appointments are missed without a word more than once, we may ask for a deposit on the next one. Almost nobody reaches that point.
- Tipping
- Never expected, always appreciated, and it goes entirely to the person who did the work. Cash or card, whichever is easier.
- Children and guests
- Children are welcome for their own appointment, with an adult in the salon. Friends are welcome to wait; the chairs by the window are theirs.
Open Tuesday to Saturday, all year. Parking is at Bridgehampton Commons, outside the door.
