A new era, and a new deal for stylists: the craft taken seriously, a team worth working beside, and steady ground under you in every season.

Family-run in Bridgehampton for more than twenty years, under a name that has meant something since 1975. Now under new direction, with a new vision for how the salon is run and how its stylists are treated.

You work the way you want to work — your chair, your pace, your clients, your own methods. There is a standard everyone holds to, and past that, how you get there is yours.

How you are paid, how the floor runs, what a good year looks like here: that is a conversation we have in person, before you decide anything. What we can put in writing is what it covers:

• How you are paid. Real figures, not a range, and they hold once you start. Full-time is rewarded here, and a full book in February counts the same as one in August.
• Your clients. Whether you arrive with a following or build one at this chair, you will know where you stand before you decide.
• Education. You work beside senior stylists every day, and a question here gets answered by someone who has done it for decades.
• Your schedule. Tuesday to Saturday today. Sundays and Mondays if you want them and the numbers work.
• Clients who arrive on time. Free, easy parking right outside the door, better than any other salon location out here. Nobody circles the village for a space and walks in twenty minutes late, so your day runs the way you booked it.
• Supplies. We stock more color than most salons, four professional lines on the shelf, so you formulate for the hair in front of you rather than for what happens to be in the back. What is not here can usually be ordered.
• Steady ground. Open and staffed all year. Nobody is sent home in January, and the winter is looked after the same way as July. Elizabeth and Vincent have each been here more than twenty years.

We treat our stylists better than any other salon, so we choose them with care. If you are the right person for the job, come and talk with us, and we think you will agree.

Our hours. Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed Sundays and Mondays — but if you would want either of those days, tick them on the form. For the right person we would look at opening.
