Your first visit
What happens when you walk in
New here? This is the whole thing, so nothing about the day is a surprise.
- Not sure who to book? Book a consultation. It is fifteen minutes with a stylist, on its own, at no charge. Bring photos or bring nothing; you leave with a plan and a price, and no obligation to book the service. Choose Consultation on any stylist’s page.
- Park at Bridgehampton Commons, right outside. Come as you are; there is no dress code and no reason to wash your hair first.
- Arrive about ten minutes early the first time. The desk will take a few details and get you settled.
- The consultation comes before anything else. Your stylist looks at your hair, asks how you live with it, and tells you what it needs. You hear the price and the time before a thing is mixed or cut.
- How long to allow. Cuts and blowouts run 30 to 60 minutes. Color runs about 1½ hours for a single process and 2 to 3 hours for highlights or balayage. Keratin is about two hours. Each price on the services page shows its time.
- Want a tweak afterwards? Come back within seven days and it is done at no charge.

How we work
The house rules, in plain words
- The price is agreed before we start
- The figure on the services page is where it starts; the figure you hear in the chair is the one you pay.
- We want you to love it
- Any tweak you would like within seven days is on us. Just tell the desk.
- Changing or cancelling
- We have a 24-hour cancellation policy, and we appreciate at least 24 hours’ notice of any change to an appointment. The time then goes to someone on the waiting list.
- Running late
- Text us when you know. Past fifteen minutes we may need to shorten the service or find another time.
- Not showing up
- No card is taken to book. Repeated no-shows may mean a deposit on the next visit.
- Tipping
- Never expected, always appreciated, and it all goes to the person who did the work.
